Embroidery Workshop Saturday, May 19th
Join us for a fun and informative hands-on embroidery workshop led by owner and designer of Socorro Society, Lauren Gonzalez. The workshop will take place on Saturday, May 19th from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M.
No worries if this is your first time stitching, Lauren will show you 7 basic stitches to get you started and everything you'll need to continue with your own designs!
We will start on muslin while learning the basics and move onto embroidering a bandana for you to take home and love. We will have templates of some of her most popular designs for you to trace onto your own garments and embroider, or you can free hand a design or text for you to embroider.
Your class fee includes a super useful kit to take home with you with everything you need to get started; needles, hoop, scissors, floss, needle threader, and nippers AND a print out of Lauren's favorite tips and tricks. "I've had years of headaches to learn these bad boys, I'm here to help save you a few!“
Be sure to eat before you come but we will provide a variety of snacks for the event. We will have wine, but if you have a favorite beverage, you're welcome to bring it with you!
There are limited seats available- this will sell out!
